Le neurofeedback am\u00e9liore les fonctions ex\u00e9cutives chez les enfants atteints de troubles du spectre de l\u2019autisme (TSA)<\/h1><\/div>\n\n\n\n

R\u00e9sum\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sept enfants autistes, diagnostiqu\u00e9s comme \u00e9tant atteints de troubles du spectre de l\u2019autisme (TSA), ont re\u00e7u un traitement de neurofeedback visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer leur niveau de contr\u00f4le ex\u00e9cutif. Le neurofeedback a permis de r\u00e9duire avec succ\u00e8s leur ratio th\u00eata\/b\u00eata \u00e9lev\u00e9 en inhibant l\u2019activation th\u00eata et en renfor\u00e7ant l\u2019activation b\u00eata au fil des s\u00e9ances. Apr\u00e8s le traitement, on a constat\u00e9 que les capacit\u00e9s ex\u00e9cutives des enfants s\u2019\u00e9taient nettement am\u00e9lior\u00e9es par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9valuation avant traitement, et ce, dans un large \u00e9ventail de t\u00e2ches \u00e9valuant les fonctions ex\u00e9cutives. Des am\u00e9liorations suppl\u00e9mentaires ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9es au niveau de leurs comportements sociaux, communicatifs et habituels, en comparaison avec un groupe t\u00e9moin plac\u00e9 sur liste d\u2019attente. Ces r\u00e9sultats sugg\u00e8rent un d\u00e9ficit fondamental des fonctions ex\u00e9cutives dans le TSA, qui peut \u00eatre att\u00e9nu\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un protocole sp\u00e9cifique de neurofeedback. Les m\u00e9canismes neuronaux susceptibles d\u2019expliquer l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des fonctions ex\u00e9cutives chez les enfants autistes gr\u00e2ce au neurofeedback sont \u00e9galement abord\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En conclusion, l\u2019application d\u2019un protocole de neurofeedback typiquement utilis\u00e9 pour le TDAH \u00e0 un groupe d\u2019enfants diagnostiqu\u00e9s avec un TSA s\u2019est r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9e particuli\u00e8rement efficace. Ce traitement de neurofeedback a entra\u00een\u00e9 des am\u00e9liorations nettes des fonctions ex\u00e9cutives, mises en \u00e9vidence par un large \u00e9ventail de t\u00e2ches li\u00e9es aux fonctions ex\u00e9cutives. Ces observations viennent \u00e9tayer davantage la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019un d\u00e9ficit de base des fonctions ex\u00e9cutives chez les enfants TSA et sugg\u00e8rent un lien entre l\u2019augmentation du ratio th\u00eata\/b\u00eata et une hypoactivation du cortex cingulaire ant\u00e9rieur (ACC), pouvant constituer l\u2019origine neuronale de ce d\u00e9ficit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
